T6 : T6M89 and T6M97

Toolkit derived from an old TK2-version, de-bugged, extended, for the UQLX with MINERVA 1.89 or 1.97, rsp, which will not be working with other QDOS versions. Might be functional with the standard QL hardware; was prepared for and tested with UQLX and Linux 2.2.xx/i586, only.

M89 : M89T M89M

M89M is a slightly modified version of the MINERVA 1.89 ROM, which is in the public domain - many thanks to the authors, which made the publication of this special version possible. I'd change not much, just fixed a bug to enable 16MB of RAM, and adjusted a few other things, mainly w.r.t. the UQLX running more efficiently and with an over-sized screen display.
M89 was (and will be) tested with the UQLX and Linux, only.
M89T is the bundled system ROM image of M89 with T6 for the UQLX.

M89T v14 (20. Sep. 1999)

Version

• The ASCII-coded date of assembly and version can be found at e.o.f.
• The version can be read with the T6 command "TK2_EXT#chan!".

Bug Fixes

• Code corrected for usage of up to 16MB RAM.
• bp_fname, drop-return to assumed(!) caller's caller when no parameters supplied removed.
• sd_flood: Memory requirements calculations modified to suit over-sized screens.
• undefined QDOS traps, (possible system crash with screen and MDV) return D0:=-15.
• v08: Newly introduced bug in "mt_inf" fixed.

Other Changes

• CLOSE
  will proceed without an error if single false parameters were included in a parameter list. The QDOS-channel 000 cannot be closed (is protected). Otherwise the same as supplied with the TK2 extensions (multiple parameters, etc).
• DELETE
  always returning error free, DELETEing a non existent file is not an error, other possible error codes will also be suppressed, because of lack of ROM codespace.
• S.Basic Standard Windows
  Just deliberately, because I don't like the red and white S.Basic windows, the MODE-4 sizes and colours are modified.
• System startup after timeout always MODE 4.
• Character fount
  Arrows and capital "sigma" slightly modified,
  CHR$(127) changed to '(C)' and CHR$(181) modified to display an own (tiny) label.
• ERNUM
  as MI-1.97, returning the full size 32bit error code, if required.
• REPORT ernum
  extended to the additional TK2 functionality (as MI-1.97).
• io_qset
  any 16bit values made safe (modified MI-1.97 procedure).
• io_qsetl
  New vector at $016c - to be offset by $4000 - as MI-1.97, for longword sized queues.
• undefined or non-existent QDOS vectors within $0c0..$182 returning ERR.NI (-19), to prevent crashes with MI-1.97+ specialized programs.
