What you'll find here does comply to the genuine QDOS
and SuperBASIC specifications and should be working with any
compatible system: JM, JS, MGx, MINERVA and, as much as
possible with the QXL & SMSQ 1.76, QLAY,
UQLX. Those SMSQ/E-things are not supported
any more, i.e. the programs might be working even there, I yust don't
care...
Das hier Angebotene entspricht den QDOS- und
SuperBASIC-Konventionen und ist für alle compatiblen Systeme
gedacht: JM, JS, MGx, MINERVA, QXL &
SMSQ 1.76, außerdem QLAY und UQLX (s.u.). Sonstige

Einige der Assemblerquellen konnten aus Platzgründen hier nicht mehr untergebracht werden. Sie sind, wenn's denn sein soll (mir ein wenig lästig), per e-mail als tar-bzip2-Archive erhältlich.
Some assembler sources are missing because there was not
enough storage space at this site. Most of them, if really needed (I'm lazy),
will be available as tar-bzip2'ed archives, by e-mail.
Ich habe mir Mühe gegeben, die Tauglichkeit meiner Programme für alle QDOS-artigen Systeme sicherzustellen, derer ich habhaft werden konnte, bin aber nicht mehr bereit, nur für die Prüfung u.a. angeblich "über-compatibler" Systeme verblasener Second-Source-Anbieter zusätzlichen Aufwand zu treiben. Referenz sind neben den betr. Angaben zu MINERVA & TK2 der "QL Technical Guide" von Karlin & Tebby (QDOS) und das "..Definitive Handbook" von J.Jones (SuperBASIC). Für alles nicht Konformgehende ist ggf. der jeweilige Autor zu Rate zu ziehen, ich habe nichts damit im Sinn. Insbes. bezüglich Störfällen, wie sie u.U. mit Namen "SMSQ/E" zugleich auch als Abart eines armseligen Monitorprogramms ("QMON") auffällig werden, wende man sich getrost an den Guru - man wird ihn brauchen...
Though I tried to verifying feasibility of my programs in any QDOS style systems I could get hold of, that attempt was limited by availability as I can not afford, nor do I find it worth the effort, to just for testing buying regular versions of each of those heavily over-priced "advanced" products. For anything which isn't covered by the MINERVA & TK2 extensions and the QDOS standards as published with the "QL Technical Guide" or, SuperBASIC by J.Jones' "..Definitive Handbook", pse, refer to the authors concerned. I certainly won't respond to any questions arising w.r.t. any second source stuff, like "SMSQ/E", ridiculously and falsely(!) said to be "more compatible than QDOS", which even can appear as just some mysteriously extended version of a low quality monitor program ("QMON")...
The programs have been tested with the Black QL,
UQLX and QXL.
